Polish property FAQ's

Why Poland?
First time visitors to Poland are suitably impressed as Poland has much to offer. The northern coast which faces the Baltic sea may not be a match for the Spanish costas but the cost of living is still very reasonable and beach resorts are popular, though with a limited season. The Mazury Lake region is very popular with sailing and fishing enthusiasts. The mountains in the south have many places for hiking, fishing and ski-ing. Poland has large tracts of unspoilt countryside and National Parks where you can experience many sights, see birds or wildlife long forgotten or lost in the UK.

Where are the best places to buy Polish Property?
This depends on what you are looking for. As anywhere else location remains an important factor when considering polish property. The capital of Warsaw is one place, others that are getting a lot of interest are Krakow in the South, Gdansk a port city on the Baltic coast (often referred to as the Tri-city area) and Zakopane a ski resort in the south. Also, places like Poznan, Lodz, Katowice and Wroclaw are gaining interest. Poland is quite a big country and there will be more places that we hope to advise on, as being worthy of having a look at for future potential.

What's the Investment potential for Polish property?
Whilst anything said here is purely just our own opinion, many property commentators tip eastern european countries like Poland as having a bright future in terms of rental yields and capital growth. However to maximise those yields and potential returns you must buy Polish property in the right places and, at a good price. This invariably means a lot of research and leg-work.

Got any Warsaw property?
Yes, try our service to get plenty of offers from willing sellers in the Warsaw region. Last year in 2006 prices rose by 30%!

How soon do I get the Polish Property offers after I've paid the fee?

The first of these offers will be emailed to you within 3 working days. We don't keep 'stock' of any Polish property offers as we prefer to supply you with fresh and current offers from within Poland, so the chances of any Polish property being still available is very high. The individual offers may be sent over a period of time, but no longer than 28 days for all of them, so you are unlikely to get them all in one go. It takes us time to find and translate these property offers. You can then make your own enquiries, visits, calls etc to the seller or choose to engage us using our 'Results service'.

What If I don't like any of the Polish property offers you've sent me?

No problem, just contact us via email and give us your reasons and request an additional Polish property offer. Please allow a few days for us to send you a fresh offer.

How much does your Results service cost? (now discontinued)

As shown on our Services and Offers page we charge just £89.95 for this, with no time limits, which still represents good value. Any other tailored service packages that are agreed upon with any individual must also be pre-paid, we will only begin working on your behalf once we have received cleared funds.
What do you do for this Results Service?
Lots of things, excluding getting involved in any direct financial transactions. We will never ask you to pay any of the Polish property or Polish land purchase costs directly to us. We would never act as your legal expert but if you need such experts, we will try to get you more than just one recommendation from whatever part of Poland you decide to buy in, that can act on your behalf, usually a Notary.
We will however undertake any number of emails, phone calls to any property or land seller's, estate agent that you want to buy from, builders, and any other officials etc.
These can be both private sellers and even polish estate agents that you have come across yourselves, or that we have supplied information on. It's essentially a translation and advisory type service which remains impartial and is meant to make the buying process a bit easier, smoother and quicker. Whilst we act on your behalf we don't sign anything for you or guarantee any outcome, as with any property transaction both buyer and seller can withdraw from the buying process up until any Contracts have been entered into (usually any such contracts ought to be overseen, and be in front of a Polish Notary).

Where do you get these Polish Property and Polish Land offers from?
We do a lot of online and offline research. Many of these polish property offers are in the public domain but we spend many hours finding them, so you don't have to, plus we translate all that information into English which takes time.

What are the benefits of using your services? (now discontinued)
Many Polish estate agents as well as already charging a fee to the seller will also charge the buyer a fee of 2-3% of the purchase price of a Polish property, and may have written agreements that potential buyers are required to sign before any viewings are arranged. This is all legal and normal practice when buying through a Polish estate agent. However, when buying from a private seller with our help, and even paying our small fee, it will still reduce your overall buying costs, so saving you money ! It's all about keeping your expenses to a minimum.

What's a Notary?
A notary is a Court appointed official who you need to use to check the ownership of the Polish property and prepare contracts on your behalf for when you purchase any Polish property or land in Poland. The Polish word is 'Notariusz' and their offices can be found in most towns and cities.
Also, it's advisable that you also use a Polish lawyer for the purchase.

Whats in Rzeszow?
Take a look at the map of Europe, focus your eyes on Poland and head south east to one of the most beautiful corners of Poland - Podkarpacie Region. Rzeszów, the capital of the region used to be a mixture of cultures and nations. Nowadays visitors may take advantage of the wide accommodation in the city. They may spend their time pleasantly in numerous pubs (be sure to pop into the Czarny Kot pub), restaurants, coffee bars and discos.

The most attractive parts of the region are mountainous forest areas forming the Bieszczady National Park. Check this site for Photo's of the area. So far undiscovered by Brit's, but a growth area for outdoor pursuit fans I think with walking, fishing, horse-riding and ski-ing .
http://www.bieszczady.pl/gallery.php?n=&catID=top&search=&pageNo=1Among the most precious sights worth mentioning are the Renaissance castle complexes in Baranów Sandomierski and Krasiczyn, and the Baroque palace in Lancut. The tourist life concentrates mainly in the areas of the lakes Solina and Myczkowskie where numerous holiday resorts are located offering water sports facilities.

Long term thinkers may well consider this area to be a wise long term bet, it being so close to the Ukraine.
